Ok, I got it
This is Spot-spot’s Arrival Story:

David was driving around in his mobile glass truck and saw her a few times and became very concerned. She was tied out to a trailer hitch and getting skinnier and more wore down every time he went past where she lived.
Finally when he could not bear to see her getting thinner, he grabbed her and brought her home.
Her condition was horrid; she was half her weight from internal parasites. Covered with thousands of fleas. Her skin from the fleabites was inflamed and her hindquarters looked like hamburger, her tail had no hair at the base and halfway down. Her pads were blistered and ripped/hanging from her open toe flesh. Her front small teeth ground down to nothing and all four canines shattered from trying to eat through cement to escape. Her face has small scars where we think she might have been a bait dog for dogfights. It took about 6 months but she is now wonderfully joyful and even barks now. The first two months she did not even bark.
Winston has adopted her to his heart and often times she will lay across his front legs so he can bathe her face and ears.
In the fall, winter and spring she sleeps tight against Winston and Dekias for their wooly warmness.
The veterinary here estimates her age to be about 8 years old, I shutter to think how long she lived in that terrible condition.
