To the left is Pippin, a sable out of Casa La Strega Kennels in N.Y.
The first picture is Pippin at 12 weeks, notice the full rich color and the black tipping on the fur.
Then at adulthood, the coloring has faded. But you can still see some in the topknot and over all the body if you look closely. Pippins ears remain with the rich coloring, although softer in tone.
To go to the Casa La Strega Kennel website for Leo or Pippin or to see her beautiful phantoms, please click on Baby Pippin's nose. The little Sable on the far left.
All three of these dogs are very beautiful examples of black and red phantoms.
The sweet baby poodle on the left is Leo and the right side is Be Bop and right under Be Bop's bottom left corner is Jessika. Leo is out of Casa La Strega kennels in N.Y. Be Bop and Jessika are out from Coquette Kennels in San Diego, CA.
Notice the very distinct red over the eyes, cheeks and chest markings, then forelegs and front of the hindlegs. Perfect markings in everyway!
Denise, owner of Coquette Kennels waited for two years to get Jessika, the most perfect red and black phantom girl on the planet and then, as luck would have it when you are truly wanting something, BeBop made his appearance in a friend's new litter for her.
To the right here is Blossom, she is a Coquette parti poodle.
In the upper left corner is Blossoms 'Bloomers'.
Such a cute picture that I had to include it to show what a darling she is!
Please feel free to click on Blossoms nose to go to Coquette Poodles webpage..so many poodles, so little time!!!!
Here is my very own Winston, he is out of JC Pioneer Kennels in PA. Winston is a silver brindle mis-mark.
In the first picture above this caption he is about 14 months old. Notice the brindling across his topline and down his hindquarters, his head and wither area.
Now at over 2 years old, his brindling has faded, much like the sable on this page.
The cording of his hair makes it hard to see the brindling, and the sun has faded the tips of the cords, but after a fresh bathing, his coat shows what little brindling is left.
The mis-marking is the patch of white on his chest and right foot. Do not confuse this as a parti marking, he is only a mis-mark.
Now just below here is the most perfect 'Tuxedo' parti poodle marking I have ever seen.
This is Jilly Bean and she is out of Pioneer Kennels in PA.
The Tuxedo markings for a parti poodle are as the name implies. The markings are as if the dog is wearing a Tuxedo and so aptly showing on this beautiful black and white female.
To go to the Pioneer Kennel website for Jilly Bean, Trader or Ben Dover to see her beautiful Parti and Solids, please click on baby Jilly Beans nose. The stunning picture just below left of this caption.
This handsome fella is Trader, he is a 'Piebald' parti poodle out of Pioneer Kennels in PA.
Like my Dekias, the markings are random and like patches scattered over the body.
The small freckle like marks are called 'ticking'. This is not desirable, but it seems from just observation that black and white piebalds get these more as they age. Where as the other parti colors do not, as you will see in the Ben parti pictures. He is the silver and white parti poodle below.
Hold on to your seat for this tidbit from the Gods!
This is Ben Dover, an incredible silver and white parti from Pioneer Kennels also!
As with all silvers, they are born black and clear to their silver. With Ben, his silver markings were born black and are clearing, as his face shows in these pictures.
Now this male will stop you in your tracks. This up and coming star is Levi.
Yup, you guessed right....introducing the brother to Ben.
Both of these boys are out of the very famous JC Pioneer's
Kaiser and JC Pioneer and Sisco's Mia, both brillient silver standards.
JC Pioneer's Kaiser, their sire was top male in the world 2003!
Levi shows the body, style and grace of what good breeding is all about!
So a round of applause is due this beautiful Tintlet boy.
If you wish to see more of him and his breeder's 'Tintlet's 'webpage, please touch his nose.
