Winston is a silver brindle mis-mark poodle.
He is also an Ambassador for the standard poodle breed here on the Virginia coast.
Winston appeared in an ad for Mrs. Bones in the New York Dog magazine in the Febuary/March issue 2006. He, Woo-woo and Solange were also part of the Fashion show for Mrs. Bones at the Hampton Roads Home and Garden show in April 2006.
He is in a historically correct corded coat.
This is a way of coat that was very popular 100 years ago when corded poodles were used as retrievers and water fowl dogs.
The colored ribbon in his topknot was so the hunters could tell which dog of theirs was in the water or field.
